Golf Club at Newcastle - China Creek

The Golf Club at Newcastle is a 36-hole golf facility located in Bellevue, Washington. I've played both courses at Newcastle and each is a treat. The conditioning is excellent although the fairway grass can get a little thin at times. The greens, however, are meticulous and roll pure and fast. The layouts of both courses are unique and challenging. Sloping fairways, elevation changes, doglegs, and the occasional blind shot force attention all the way around. As good as the courses are, the location is easily the best attribute of Newcastle. It's perched on a hilltop and offers sweeping views of downtown Bellevue, Lake Washington, the Seattle Skyline and Olympic Mountains. On a nice day, the scenery at Newcastle rivals any in the State! A covered driving range, two practice greens, fully stocked pro shop and full-service restaurant round out the amenities. They don't give away the experience at Newcastle so be prepared to drop a few sheckles. But even for the price, Newcastle is worth a play.
