Fairway Village GC — Collective Review

Summary

Fairway Village Golf Course in Vancouver, Washington, enjoys a consistently positive reputation among regional golfers, often cited as a pleasant 'hidden gem' in Southwest Washington. Reviewers across platforms such as 18Birdies, GolfPass/GolfAdvisor, Yelp, and regional golf directories highlight its outstanding value, with green fees that make it an accessible option for casual players, seniors, and beginners alike. The semi-private, 9-hole executive course (par 34) is situated within a mature 55+ master-planned residential community, and players regularly praise its layout featuring tall pine-lined fairways, scenic ponds, and smooth, receptive greens. One of the course's standout reputations in the Pacific Northwest is its exceptional drainage, enabling year-round playability even during wet winter months when other area tracks are unplayable. Staff members receive high marks for being accommodating, warm, and helpful. On the critique side, golfers note that houses sit tightly along multiple fairways, requiring caution off the tee. Reviewers also mention occasional operational bottlenecks during peak times, such as limited rental golf carts or club rentals, and state that the short executive configuration may not satisfy players seeking a full-length championship test. Overall, golfers view it as an exceptionally maintained, fun, and cost-effective venue for a fast, relaxed 9-hole round.
