Legacy Resort Golf Course — Collective Review
Summary
Reviews and feedback for The Legacy Resort Golf Course (often recognized as The Legacy Resort at Frenchman Hills) near Othello, Washington, paint a mixed but cautiously optimistic picture. Review volume across major golf platforms is relatively sparse, with only a small number of ratings logged across TripAdvisor and GolfPass/GolfAdvisor. Golfers describe the 18-hole, par-68 layout as a fun, approachable links-inspired test that plays comparatively short (around 5,162 yards) with low slope ratings, making it particularly accessible and welcoming for beginners and high-handicap players. Reviewers give high praise to the pro shop staff for their warm, helpful, and accommodating customer service, and pace of play is generally quick. However, the golfing experience has drawn notable criticism regarding overall course maintenance and infrastructure. Players cite frustrating green surfaces, rough conditions on fairways, inaccurate hole yardage markers, and missing safety features such as protective barriers near roadways and parking. Additionally, because the golf course is part of an evolving residential and RV resort community, many planned clubhouse and resort amenities were still undergoing long-term development during player visits.
