Summary
Mint Valley Golf Course in Longview, Washington, enjoys a very positive reputation among local and visiting golfers, regularly praised as one of the best golf values in the region and previously recognized among the top value courses nationally by GolfPass. Golfers consistently compliment the well-maintained condition of the course, especially noting fast, smooth, and tricky greens alongside playable, rolling fairways. With over 500 reviews on GolfPass averaging 4.5 out of 5 stars and hundreds more across platforms like 18Birdies and Facebook, an overwhelming majority of players recommend the track. Reviewers frequently describe the parkland layout as fair and accessible, making it particularly enjoyable for intermediate players, seniors, and walkers due to its flat, manageable terrain. The staff and management regularly earn high marks for their friendliness and hospitality. Criticisms are minor and typical for a busy municipal facility; golfers sometimes note sluggish pace of play during peak hours, basic amenities with limited on-course food or drink service, and occasional seasonal wetness leading to cart-path-only restrictions.
